There is no ... morewriting on the piece to indicate which wood type it is but I feel qualified. At least, to be certain that it is one of these two. If you look at some of the other Kling Furniture pieces listed on eBay, you will find pieces that are either exactly like or close to identical to this piece, with a paper label that reads, All Exposed Parts Guaranteed Solid, Genuine Cherry(or) Mahogany. Kling Means Solid. That label has been removed from this piece but it is clearly solid, gorgeous hardwood, including even the drawer bottoms and sides. Dimensions: All measurements are approximate to the nearest half inch) Height is 26-1/2 inches. Length front to back is 14 inches. Width across chest. Side to side is 16-1/2 inches.
