It is 82" long and ... more39" high to the center at the back. This sofa is ornate with hand crafted hard wood decor about 2" thick in dark brown color of the grape and leaf patterns. The cushion is about 4" at highest point. 58" long without arm, and 20" deep. It is an original tanned upholstery with the small mauve flower pattern. It is decorated with some fabric buttons on the cushion. The cushion is very firm. There are 3 light water stains on the cushion sitting area as shown in the pictures. There is a small worn area on the fabric of the left arm. No major damage on the cushion. The cushion is 5" high from the floor. It has the brass rivets stitched along the cushion all the way around the front. The arm is 24 1/2" high from the floor. Each arm of the sofa has embossed hand crafted grape leaf design. There is a wooden surface damage on the top right arm. The stitching at the back along the left arm has come detached about 2" The legs are very stunning with the hand carvings on wood about 2 3/4" thick. The end of the legs have brass wheels about 1" diameter. There is a tear at the back on right foot area of the upholstery about 2" but it is not noticeable. The back felt cover is purple/ blue, it is faded. There are rusty nails holding back cover, that is partially torn off. The bottom of the couch covered with the fabric, it is old, has no tears. All the tears mentioned can be fixed. All is in great shape. This piece is really classic antique look, was kept well by our grandmother circa 1800's. Sold as is. Local pick-up only. I don’t see a maker’s mark, but this is ... morehigh quality company. It has four sections that are all slatted oak. Each bookcase section is 14 inches wide, 8 inches deep, 12 inches high on the bottom, 10 inches high on the other 3 levels. The overall height of the bookcase is 58 inches. The finish is very nice and it will hold many books. The only thing I see wrong with it is that there are lamination seams on the top came apart a bit, but is structurally sound. It revolves on a metal base. Shipping starts at $285 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.

The ... morelectern rack is missing the single piece of wood of bottom molding. The lectern opens and closes as desired. It has a gadroon edge. It is finished in a dark walnut stain. I think the wood could be walnut the more I look at it in this dark finish. The overall size is 21 inches square and 35 inches high overall. Each section is 10 inches wide, 7 inches deep, 11 inches high and 12 inches high on the bottom shelf. It is missing a few of the brass tacks, but overall it is complete. Period brass tear drop pulls and pin& cove(knapp joint) ends on the drawers. All the drawers have their locks intact but no key. The front of the chest has beautiful incised carvings on the drawers and wood escutcheons. This chest is good quality, solid, sturdy and would make a great addition to any Victorian Decor. Nut missing for finial on left top drawer pull. The Eastlake furniture style as envisioned by its namesake, Charles Lock Eastlake, came about in response to his dislike of the over-the-top Rococo and Renaissance Revival styles popular during the Victorian era. The mirror itself has age appropriate wear with some loss of silvering on the old mirror. The cast iron easel stand and frame are the treasure here. VICTORIAN ANTIQUE WALNUT MARBLE-TOP DRESSER- Circa 1867-1900. BEAUTIFUL condition! Must see! Drop center design. 3 marble tops(gray and white, beveled edge) Marble is in good shape, ever-so-slight stains. Has 4 smaller drawers at top, 2 large drawers at bottom, and a"secret" drawer at bottom base. Has Knapp joints on drawers(see close-up) Middle drawer sticks somewhat, but can probably be fixed. Exquisite wood carvings and raised burl walnut panels. Drawer pulls are wood carved leaf design. Candle shelves on each side of mirror. On casters. Solid and sturdy. Measures 86"H x 46-1/2"W x 19"D. Be sure to add me to your! This ANTIQUE LATE 1800's VICTORIAN DRESSSER is made from solid walnut and has been refinished. It has three large drawers with a fancy skirt around the bottom on four legs with rollers. Which roll very well. On top of this are two glove boxes on each side separated by white marble. The back holds the elegant curved and bevelled mirror housed in a walnut curved frame with applied wood decoration and a special decoration extending several inches above the top of the mirror frame. There are four original leaf carved handles which are not on the piece. The buyer would have the choice of putting on handles of his choice or matching the original handles with two more. As refinished this piece is in excellent condition except for the missing two original handles. The three drawers are 36 inches wide; it is 37 inches ... morefrom floor to marble. Including the key hole covers are original.As you can see the hardware is the icing on this cake! The original drawer locks are all in place and in excellent working order using the beautiful key I had made.The top of the dresser has incredible patina and some of the finest grain figuring you will see.The top is first class all the way. All of the drawers were totally rebuilt and slide like silk. The drawers feature the sought after dovetail joinery. I restored the finish all by hand using a custom rich stain to achieve the highlighted rich burgundy followed by many. Many coats of hand ... morerubbed varnish.When you rub your hands over the finish you will feel the superb depth and notice the beauty of the amazing maple grains. This is a"bonnet top" dresser meaning the top two drawers protrude and overhand the lower level drawers. The sides have great architectural design with the paneled construction.Like any fine antique. This piece has minor imperfections and character marks in the wood. The posts which hold the drawer handle in place are brass plated steel, some of the plating has worn off after 135 plus years.The photos show casters in the legs, they will not be included.I find they tend to split the legs.There is a knot depression on the upper left side(see photo) I think it adds character and figuring just like the top of the dresser. Gentleman's Antique Victorian Chest of Drawers - Local PickUp Only
Purchased this item at an estate sale so I don't know the origin of this piece. Measures 32" W x 19" D x 44 1/2" H(49" in back) I do know that the craftsmanship is phenomenal and the fit and finish is beautiful. The piece is in average condition with some scratches and wood chipped off in places. I'm guessing the extra compartment on top was a jewelry box. The wheels are made of wood suggesting it is very old indeed. The handcarved overlays are awesome. Two drawer handles are missing. This is a gorgeous solid black walnut with burl walnut applied trim Victorian age drop center dresser with a white and gray grain marble ... moretop that dates from the 1880s. It came in on a recent load. And was very clean. Someone probably refinished it a long time ago, and all we did was tighten it up, scuff it down and re-spray it to remove all the nicks and dings. It has a great look, a dark walnut stain finish, white and gray grain marble tops in really nice condition with minor stains and no cracks. It also has hand-cut dovetail drawers, big burl walnut panels on the front, and carved medallions in the center. It also has the old teardrop dresser knobs of ebony. The top of the dresser has what looks like the original mirror, along with the original candle shelves that was used to hold the oil lamps while gazing at your reflection. It also has all original carving and decoration on the back, and the top of the carved crest, the applied cutout carved trim, button medallions, applied burl panels and clamshell carved crest on top, all intact. It’s all ready to go in your home. It measures 44 inches wide, 17 inches deep, cabinet base is 32 inches up to the marble, 79 inches to the top of the mirror crest. for sale a wonderful pierced carved victorian rococo walnut dresser vanity or possibly a shaving stand. depends on what you want as to what you call it. it is a great piece presented in original finish with wonderful patina. it is in near mint condition with the exception of a small repair. Looks as if screws have been replaced on one of the back swivel mount pieces. there are no weakness or problem and the function is perfect, but it has been tweaked a bit. it is 30 inches wide and sits on great carved rococo feet. the base has three hinged caskets for whatever you want to put in them. it is 12 inches deep, extending one inch behind the mirror base. the mirror base and harp are of wonderful form and design. the base and harp are pierced carved in the finest fashion. it is 33 inches in overall height. the harp houses an oval frame which contains ... morethe original mirror that is nearly perfect. there is the minutest amount of sliver loss. these are hard to find especially in the shape this one is in. the three caskets are a 9.5 inch oval in the center and two 6.5 inch round ones on either side of the central oval one. someone will be proud to own this great piece. it may be picked up at my home and shipped at buyer's expense. i have owned about 4 of these in 40 years, none any nicer than this one, but all sold for a lot more than i am starting this one at. i had one that i had a little dresser base for it to sit on. it sold for about 3000 a few years back. anyway, if you are on your toes you can get a bargain here. a rare and fair find and wonderful in every way.

Hello- This is a very special True Victorian Hairbrush Mirror from at the LATEST 1850! The Amber-Yellow glass indicates this. And is never reproduced. When looking into the Etched Amber Glass, Your face is surrounded by the flowers just like my camera is if you can imagine, and your face has an amber glow. I placed it on the 50's mirror so that you can see the difference in the glass's. The big round mirror is part of the set. The Victorian Curling is genuine, I'm not positive of it's age, But these were used even into the 1920's. The brush measures approx. 10" long x 3 1/3" at the widest. And has a wooden brush area to hold the bristles. The metal is a bit tarnished from age, a magnet does not stick to it and I don't know what kind of metal it is. There is some loss to the etching of the flowers, but not ... moretoo much and is still in wonderful condition. The curling iron is approx. 10" long. With a thin crimping rod for"pin curl" size curls. The round mirror has some tarnishing from age. A magnet does not stick to it. The mirror measures approx. 12" long x 9" at the widest. Excellent(restored) condition, This gorgeous yew chest of drawers was English-made by hand in Victorian England around 1890. Having undergone a recent restoration that includes new hardware. New yew veneers and a new base, the chest now looks remarkably stunning. The yew displays a deep, lustrous complexion and a striking grain, which are complemented by the lovely ... morestring ebony inlay. Each drawer of course features hand-cut dovetailed joints and still operates smoothly, while the shaped bracket feet are as sturdy as they are elegant. Because the veneers are new, there is really no wear to speak of, although the yew has been hand-distressed to look like an antique. The locks also no longer function, but otherwise this chest remains in excellent condition. As you can see. This chest contains plenty of storage space. Even the sides look great. During a recent restoration. This chest was fitted with new yew veneers over the original carcass. String ebony inlay contrasts beautifully with the yew. These solid brass pulls were newly added during the restoration. This bowl star inlay. Which is composed of alternating bands of ebony and satinwood, was also added during the restoration. Victorian Pine Dresser Painted Floral Design Flowers New England Antique Lovely
AWESOME antique pine dresser with lovely hand painted floral/ flowers design. from an old New England estate. This endearing vintage furniture is great for a Victorian or Edwardian style bedroom or office. Not too many of these elegantly hand painted period furniture pieces come to market these days. And this one is fetching indeed. It appears to have originally had a mirror mounted in the center back where a small hole remains with a wooden peg recessed into the top. please see accompanying digital photos) This dandy dresser measures approximately 39.5 inches wide. 17.5 inches deep and 40.5 inches high to tops of the two upper set-in drawers, 34.5 inches to surface of main top level. I don't dare touch this gem and shall let the buyer decide whether they may want to replace the missing mirror or simply have the hole covered over. Or ... moreleave it as is, etc. It's hardly noticeable, especially amidst the beautiful painted flowers and scrolling. The draws are fine and functional and the small two draws that set on the sides of the top are removable. Anyone looking to remodel or enhance their bedroom with a Victorian/ Edwardian. Country cottage or semi-classical design should relish this prized antique piece. This is a PICK-UP ONLY item. it is currently in North Conway.
