56329 ANTIQUE 1890s LOUIS XVI FRENCH PROVINCIAL MARBLE TOP CHEST OF 6 DRAWERS
An antique. Circa 1890's- 1900's, light olive painted hardwood Louis XVI style chest of drawers. There are applied laurel and berry, bellflowers, rosettes, and bandings. Five of the drawers retain the original gilt metal pulls, escutcheons, and locks, the top drawer with new replaced brass knobs, missing the lock, no key. Drawer interiors of oak. The top has a polished, beveled, beautiful mottled marble slab. Chest measures 56" tall by 34" wide by 19" deep. Very good condition: original paint finish with minor flakes, no cracks or chips to case boards. Marble very fine.
