There are a few areas where the finish is damaged, or chipped off, and these can be seen in the photos. It has a carved splat back with a woven rush seat. It is 66 inches wide, 92 inches tall to the center crest, 83.5 inches high on the side posts, 5 inches deep on the bottom, and 5 inches wide on the posts. It is all original untouched. It has a personalization on top of the crest of 3 gold gilded letters that I cannot make out. It has gold gilded trim; gold gilded liner and it is simply beautiful. There are a couple of small pieces of molding missing on the base that I believe we can detail. There is a hole on the center of the personalization, which I believe must have been a finial at one time.

The Chairs are ... morein good overall used condition and is ready to place in the setting of your choice. The chairs date from Circa 1880 and are a copy of a Carolean style. Each chair has high raised backs which have elaborate carved top rail and central panel, this is flanked by 2 lath rail rails and spiral turned end columns with finial top, the seats are upholstered in green fabric and have more carving to the seat frame at the edge, the chairs stand on turned front legs with bobbin stretcher. They have spiral back legs& matching stretchers which unite all the legs. Condition The Chairs are 100% sound. Sturdy and free from woodworm, the woodwork will have various slight marks here and there which are commensurate with Antique used items, the upholstery is in good condition and is free from rips or pulls(come from smoke& pet free enviroment) one chair has an an old repair to the finial at the top(SEE CLOSE UP) All faults are minimal and in keeping with an Antique used item. PLEASE VIEW THE PICTURES TO GIVE A GOOD ALL ROUND VIEW Measure ments 42"75 high. The seats measure 18"5 wide. 15" deep& 19" from the floor.
