The top is a formica type surface. This Chest is in really good condition. However. It does have some minor paint chips and what appear to be some minor stains on the left side of the chest and one of the drawers. The two front legs have some bumps and bruises that can be seen in the pictures as well. It was produced by Henry-Link furniture manufacturer. This Chest has dove-tailed drawers that are made out of solid wood on the inside and they all work smoothly. Chic 1970'S Spanish Sarreid Brass Table Chest Stand 3 Drawers Hollywood Regency
This is a 3 drawer Sarreid brass Chest of Drawers measuring 19"x19"x19" This chest has patina-ed with time and in order for the brass to reclaim it's sheen one would have to strip the original clear coating off. Repolish the brass and then recoat it with a clear finish. I am not that person. I think this piece is beautiful the way it is. It is well built and definitely holds it's own for a conversation piece. It's missing one of two pieces of hardware on one of it's handles that holds the handle to it's drawer. This piece consists of a brass strap brazed to a 1/4" threaded bolt which then gets a brass acorn(or finish) nut on the inside of the drawer. The handle works without the extra tie. Only it does have a tendency to"teeter" after use and for that reason you may want to replace or repair ... morethis missing piece. Please ask any questions before bidding. I can ship Greyhound fairly inexpensively so if this is an option for you let me know before paying and I will send a corrected invoice, otherwise this piece will be shipped UPS ground service, wrapped with bubble in a box.

Sarreid Era Hollywood Regency Brass Treasure Chest Trunk Wedding Box Antique 40s
Stunning small chest/trunk in the manner of Sarreid. The dome top chest has an amazing patina to the brass and would make a fine addition to any home with similar decor. Great Lines and Larger than Life describe this Unique Transitional Silver Chest. This is a quality piece of furniture that will stand proud in your dining room. Oversized. Heavy and chunky, this chest sits on a smaller square base. The chunky front door with molded wood trim with an integrated goldtone metal handle opens to reveal four shallow drawers. The top drawer is divided and lined with green felt. The others have the same grainy walnut or mahogany veneer that covers the outside. Quality construction with no metal hardware evident. Probably has the original finish. Drawers all have dovetailed joints. Solid as a rock. Large size will make quite a statement. 28" wide x 19" deep. Top is 32" off the ground. It is very heavy.
