Set of 4 Antique Swinging Wooden Picture Frames 1920's
4 Antique wooden picture frames. 3 are swinging/tilt frames. And the fourth has a felted easel. The easel frame is marked"OrnaWood. They contained pictures of my great-grandparents, dating to the early 20th Century, but I'm now storing these in albums. Two of them have the glass(original) One of them(the octagonal one) is really delicate, but if you are careful with it, many years of use left. They are really great. Old/ vintage dark oak picture frame with glass that was in the frame when I bought it. It is 9 5/8" across 11 5/8" tall the molding is 1 1/2" wide and it would fit a picture 7 1/16" by 9 1/16" The frame shows some wear from use. A few bumps and scuffs, and a corner bump, and the wood is dry, it could use some oil or a polish.

This is a vintage antique Art Deco tilt swing wood and composite picture photo frame. It is of muted browns and gray tones. Some gild as well. It is 13" tall to top of decoration and is 12.5" across the bottom stand. The glass measures 9.5" T x 7 3/4" W and has a very handsome photo of a sailor which comes with it. It has felt on the bottom. It is not missing any parts but does have some nicks of paint(see photos) It swings/tilts great. At one time. The frames are unusual as the tops are turned up. The larger one does have a small pale line in the fabric. Vtg Hand-Made Florentia Italy Poem A Doctor's Hands in Wooden Frame Under Glass
A vintage hand-crafted Florentia framed print titled"A Doctor's Hands. made in Italy. This came from the estate sale of a doctor in Cosicana, Texas. The wooden frame is light turquoise blue with a gilded design around the inner rim and also on the bottom edge. The paper print under the glass has a beautiful ornate design in gold, peacock blue, green, and red surrounding the poem. The back is covered in red and gold paper with a sticker saying: A Decorative craft, Florentia, Hand Made in Italy. Nothing to indicate when this was made or the author of the poem. It has a top center metal loop on the back for hanging. Measurements are 7-1/4" by 10-3/8" It is in very good condition, but the frame does have some light scuffs and scrapes and could use some cleaning, but I was afraid I would remove paint if I worked on it much. ... moreAlso, there are some light spots beneath the glass that could use a little cleaning, but the paper backing would have to be removed to do that, and it really isn't bad. The frame is still tight at the joints and the glass has no chips or cracks. No bad issues at all. In the photo, one side of the blue frame appears brighter than the other- caused by the lighting- and the truest color is on the left, not the electric blue on the right.

This is a wonderful old Victorian 19th Century twisted wire miniature picture frame from wonderful old estate. The metal frame is 4 3/4" by 3 1/4" and has a glass reverse print inside that is oval and 2 7/8" by 2 3/8" The picture is a litho print attached to the back of the glass to make it more like a painting. It also has Mother of Pearl inlay in the photo. It is a European scene perhaps Germany of a hill side scene with a boat perhaps in foreground. The frame has enameled green grape leaves and there is some enamel loss. See photos. The frame also has glass beads meant to be grapes and many are missing. This is a very haunting picture of a plain victorian woman. I think its a hand tinted photograph of some kind but i'm really not sure. The pose is formal and her expression is truly somber. The brooch at her throat is very nice. The carved wooden frame is possibly Eastlake? It is very ornate it has a carved floral motif that has bits of color in the flowers and leaves. There are also areas of heavy gilt. There is some damage to the frame, it has some cracks in the wood but is all together. The backing is intact. 21&3/4"L x 12&1/2"W.

From the Victorian period, they are made of black walnut with carved surfaces that resemble crisscrossed tree branches. Each of the frames overall measurements is 10 5/8" by 8 3/8" and each has an opening that is 6 5/8" by 4 3/8" They are well-built and still tight and sound. Offered. A set of three vintage lady portrait prints. They are in ornate frames with velvet and/satin like mats, under bubble glass. 2 frames are identical and the third is similar enough to be complimentary in a small group. I believe they are all made by Cameo Creations though only two have stickers. They measure approx. 7-7 1/2" tall by 6" across. Condition is very good VINTAGE/OLD with dust/dirt, some normal age related wear, a small nick on the top of the wood frame(oval) some marks on the glass. I have up for sale a very nice vintage original Antique circa early 1900s gold or brass toned metal Ribbon Top bubble glass oval picture frame. The frame including the ribbon top measures approx 22" top to bottom. The oval approx 20" top to bottom by 14" wide. The inside measurements for the photo or picture would be approx 19" x 13.5" The frame is made of metal- it magnetizes and has a gold or brass tone plating. The top ribbon section does not magnetize- not sure if it is brass or not. The frame is in Excellent Original Condition and comes with the original rope twist wall hanger accoutrement.
