Vintage Japan FAWN BAMBI DEER SALT+ PEPPER SHAKER Set Ceramic Standing Figurines
Early ~ Mid-Century Vintage hand painted standing FAWN BAMBI DEER Salt& Pepper Shaker Set. Overall size is 3.5" tall x 2.25" long x 1.5" wide. Both are posed as standing with heads slightly turned. Painted by hand with large eyes with a touch of blue and long lashes; brown tones on the head and body, green tones in blades of grass around the leg area. Pink inside the ears. Spots on the backs are slightly raised bumps. One shaker has two holes and the other three. The shaker with three holes has a fleabite at one of the holes. Although unbranded, Japan is handwritten on the bottom. Still have cork stoppers that fit nicely and are in fine condition. No cracks or nicks, no craze, and no discoloration. These shakers are well weighted and steady. Combined weight prior to packaging is 4.2 oz.

Vintage Small Porcelain Lidded Pepper Canister Jar Gold Trim - Japan "T" Takita
This auction is for a lovely porcelain*PEPPER* container made in Japan. It is a miniature lidded square porcelain canister. 4-1/4 inches high with lid in place. I assume it was part of a set at one time, but this is the only one I have. After a little research of Japanese porcelain marks, it appears this may be from the 1920's or 1930's manufactured by a company named Takita. It is in very good condition, some minor paint loss around the rim as shown in the picture; the black mark on one of the sides does not come off so my guess is that is left there by the painter. Floral cameo on the front only; looks like gold and black accents were done by hand, not sure about the floral part. Shipping is $4.50 first class mail with USPS tracking. Vintage Indian Chief and Maiden Salt and Pepper Shakers Made in Occupied Japan
Nice set of figural salt and pepper shakers marked"Made in Occuoied Japan" They are about 3" high and are in very good condition with no chips. Cracks or chipped or worn paint. They still have original cork stoppers. There is a very tiny(less than 1/8" indentation on bottom edge of maiden shaker. It is original and not a chip as the green glaze covers the edge and it is glazed over.

This is a grouping of 3 figurines. One is a salt& pepper shaker in the form of two entwined roosters. And the other is a set of two figurines of fancy ladies with"food" for heads(fish and onion) The ladies measure 5 1/4 each in height and the Salt& Pepper Shaker is 4 1/2 inches high. The seem to be very old and somewhat primitive. There is some age related paint wear and a bit of crazing on the onion head. The bottom of the roosters show some loss of glaze but otherwise they are in good vintage condition. No cracks or chips.
