Here for your consideration are two pieces of old molding from the outside of an old house. This was one piece that has been cut. The top crown pieces are all peg fitted and some come out easily. One piece measures 38" and the other is 25" long about 5" although it is not evenly made and some parts are split off(see pictures) the crowns on the top measure about 2.5x3" This is as found with weathered chipped up wood.

Architectural Salvage large Destressed Letter " R " Industrail Machine age
Up for your consideration is a Vintage Letter" R" that was saved from a building in Boston being renovated. Letter is made on Aluminum and has been destressed to give it that great vintage copper like color. Measures 17 5/8' at its tallest point and 23 1/4" at its widest point. Beautiful Primitive Antique Cast Iron Architectural Piece 2 Lbs Grapes& Vines The pickens were slim this weekend as far as auctions and estate sales. So I went to a favorite antique mall that always has an awesome February sale. Picked up lots of antiques and unique items to list! I also continue to list new items from the farm estate auction, with lookouts more new hardware pieces over the next several weeks. I am also going to one of my favorite flea market shows this weekend, so wish me luck! There’s something for everyone! What's not to love about this beautiful piece of primitive cast iron. It's Victorian in fancy age. And it most likely came off of a fence or a piece of home brick-a-brack. Made of solid cast iron, it weighs 2 lbs, which is a lot for its size: 6" wide, 8 1/2" tall and about 5/8" thick. It is ... morea grape and vine design- with one bunch of grapes and two leaves seen growing from the vine that makes up the frame of the piece. You can see manymanymany layers of old paint on it- I see white, and I think I see black, with lots of chipping, crackling and pitting. The current color is rust- and I have to tell you- I think that is an old painted finish color, not rust itself- see what you think. It does have rust, don't get me wrong, but the rust is in the spots where the paint has chipped all the way down to the metal and it's old and very very dark rust. Supersize and see what you think, as I am not sure. What I am sure of is its beauty, though, in its all original shabby glory- it's in excellent solid and sturdy condition and it will display beautifully. This is a nice old iron piece. Wonderful antique French wall panel, distressed iron, architectural 3
This lovely piece came from a local estate. It is a wonderfully crafted iron panel with round rosettes and an arched shape with open loops at the top. The piece has age: it has oxidation on most of the parts as part of its charm. It looks very good over a table as a décor by itself. But can also be used as an over door pediment or even over a mantle or as a head board behind a single bed. Besides the distressed look, it is sturdy and quite solid. This piece measures: 69" long x 35 1/2 to top peak and each side measures 50" long. For sale I have a nice piece of antique architectural salvage from an old farm house. As you can see from the measurements this piece is quite large. I wish I had wall space to keep this beauty. The patina is an aged dark wood tone worn look. Some pieces from the front are missing from the design. This piece was once at the top peak of the house. Weight about 25 pounds. This piece had to be cut down due to lots of damage. I have trimmed up the edges and glued some of the boards down. Some of the boards are a little loose. But if this piece is hung on a wall it is fine. Gorgeous Antique Victorian Era Cast Iron Architectural Pediment Fretwork Piece Busybusybusy treasure hunting week for you. I shopped at a closing antique store. Went to the flea market, and still have some items from the weeks ago farm estate auction- there’s lots of neat stuff that you don‘t want to miss! Oh-So one of my favorites this week- it's a gorgeous Victorian era antique cast iron architectural piece- a pediment or piece of fretwork from a home. Or perhaps a garden gate, I am not sure, as I just have the one, and cannot put the rest of the"peices" back together to see. I'm thrilled for the piece that I have, though- it is just so pretty in shape and design, and it looks just as good whether it's up like I have in photo 1 or up like I have it in my 23rd photo. It has a very old(probably multiple layers) finish ... moreof black paint, and you can see it's chippy, shabby and worn in many spots- and in most of those spots down to the iron underneath- and you can see a layer of dark surface rust where the metal is exposed. The rust spots are very old, surface only with no thick spots holes, etc. This piece is totally structurally sound and weighs a whopping 6 3/4 lbs. I'm showing you both front and back(if there is a difference, it seems the same on both sides to me as far as design) as well as both sides and top and bottom in my photos. On one short end and its sides(don't know if it's top or bottom- it's the top in most of my photos except 23) you can see where it looks like it was connected to a larger piece- see photos 11 and 16-17 for the side view of where it looks like it was separated, and photos 18-19 of that top where it looks like it was connected and separated. I cannot tell if it was cut or broken from its larger piece, as rough, not flat, but there's no jagged or sharp edges- see my photos. Photos 20& 21 show the other short end, where it's painted and I can see cast lines, so this end was not attached to anything back in the day. The piece measures

For auction. A 19th-century solid walnut pediment with deeply carved motif. It measures 19 1/2" across the base and about 9 1/2" wide(5 1/4" wide at center. The width is 3" across the top and 1" at the sides. This architectural salvage piece is covered with classical acanthus scrolls and a flower in the center. The wood finish does show lots of wear and there is an old repair on the leaf to the right of the flower, shown best in photo 3. Antique 18th Century Italian Carved Gilt Wood Architectural Panel Baroque 1700s
This MASSIVE early to middle 1700s continental European panel measures 19” x 15” x 2” thick and is crafted from hand hewn and mortise joined European elm or chestnut with pinned corners and ancient hand wrought nails. The outer frame is dry and scraped to wood while the center has very old. Layered paint history: the background is bittersweet and the carving is chipped gold. It is sturdy and ready to display with some minor old wormholes(inactive) You will note raw end cuts of massive dovetails on the back where the panel was separated from its original setting. Description This is a nice piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. It was originally part of a built in armoire. It is made of 1/4 sawn oak and is painted. It has crown molding and a small shelf along the top. There are great applied carvings at the center of the breast and at the ends. Overall it measures 79 inches long by 13 tall and is 3.25 inches deep at the top. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. This is a superb 19th century architectural pediment of an American eagle in plaster with gesso over and mounted on wood. Excellent and lovely attention to detail. The eagle has wings outspread with fine detailing to the bird- gilded gesso over plaster. The eagle sits over a wreath of leaves which are arranged in an semi-circular arc. Measures some 6" max x overall length of 13" Excellent and age commensurate condition with some age flaking to gilded gesso in places and a bit of damage to the plaster at leaf arc- nothing of significance. The catalog shows this design and each piece is imprinted with the name of the company. They can be turned either way as the design is on both sides. They have been cut off at some point from whatever structure it was attached to and there the bare metal shows. Please see photos. Nice design of a rose and climbing leaves. Antique Architectural Salvage Pediment Hand Carved and Inlaid Floral Design
Description: Here is a gorgeous pediment that came from the estate of a well-to-do Hartford CT woman who loved to collect beautiful items. This item came from an upstairs storage closet with other antiques and architectural elements that the woman had bought in 1983 when she was planning on building a summer house on Long Island Sound. The invoice showed that she paid $450 for it over 30 years ago. Supposedly it had been carved and inlaid by a well known Connecticut carver but her niece could not remember who for sure. It appears to be carved from two layers of solid mahogany and then two pieces at either end appear to have been nicely inlaid with boxwood in a floral pattern. The carvings are deep and wonderfully done and you can even still see the chisel marks on the top edge which would not have been seen. The color and glow of the patina is just first rate as you can tell from looking at my photos. Reclaimed 1800's Architectural exterior Oak Pediment
This Antique Pediment(header) was reclaimed from a house built in the 1860's that was torn down. The corbels I have listed came from the same home. This home was historic in that it was an underground railroad stop along the Ohio River in my home town. Just prior to the home being torn down I was able to purchase a few architectural items that I reclaimed and repurposed. Since that time my decor has changed and these items no longer work. This pediment was repurposed as a coat rack and is ready to hang for the same purpose. Given the fact that it is oak. The buyer may wish to strip the many layers of paint and show the original wood. But held with the bracket. it can sit atop itself but can swing all the way down also. see all photos. each piece is a broken piece of the garden gate. can imagine the garden. must have been spectactular. there are four smaller pieces and two larger ones. the small ones measure between 19" and 13" tall. and just about 10 1/2" wide. the tallest one measures a tall 31" tall. just about 10 1/2" wide. the second tallest one is 24" tall. same width. the range in weight from 14 pounds to 6 pounds. they are just spectacular and can be used in so many ways. g

This amazing architectural piece is a panel from an antique carousel.Featuring tons of flowers and a lovely lady in a pink gown. It has graced my porch for a decade and I have no idea how many decades before that it graced an old time Merry-Go-Round. I would guess this is from the turn of the century give or take 20 years. I have never attempted to clean this but it could use it. There is a great deal of craqueleure but that is to be expected from age and the elements. It has some damage to the upper right corner as shown. The piece is very heavy and has 2 strong metal brackets that attached it to the carousel as well as screw eyes with wire to hang it on the wall with. It is an eye catching work of art from a bygone era and surely one of a kind. We are moving and unfortunately have no place for it at our new house. Here is a most unusual garden art/ornament in the form of a modern industrial style sculpture consisting of a heavy cast and hammered aluminum spiral mounted to a heavy cast iron plinth on a steel pin. This is a wonderful hand made outdoor garden sculpture by an unknown artist and could even be used indoors for your home or garden. Close inspection of the aluminum spiral casting reveals hundreds of hammered marks. Measures 19" tall. And weighs a massive 30 pounds unpacked.
