1915 Brochure and price list from the Edwards Manufacturing Company. Iron and Steel, Cincinnati, OHIO. This was price list"D" effective September 6, 1917 for"Edwards Fireproof Steel Garages" Price list is in excellent condition. The brochure is from 1915, titled"Steel buildings For Every Purpose" It does have damage to the center of some of the pages from a drink spill. Some of the pages were peeled away and they tore. All 48 pages are still in the book. Binding is two staples that are still intact. Booklet measures approx. 10 inches by 7 3/8 inches by 1/4 inch thick. I ship the next day by USPS.

Before the wide spread use of electric and natural gas ranges and ovens. The best selling ranges ans stoves were the Acorn brand, manufactured and sold by Rathbone, Sard& Co. The company was well known for its colorful and graceful advertising posters and magazine ads. This catalog pictures and describes the full range of Acorn stoves and ranges, plus some burners and radators. In 1860. 17-year old Grange Sard, Jr. began work for stove-makers Rathbone& Company. It is actually kind of an interesting story a couple of years ago the chula vista power plant in san diego was destroyed they tore it down and before they did my company bought some of its filing cabnets at an auction on site to use in our new facility we were opening where I currently work. A couple months ago I was moving some files in my office and in the back of one of the drawers of these filling cabinets was this catalog for all the original plans for the power plant from American Blower company. Pretty Cool. Inside are all the stats for the soon to be built san diego power plant from 1957 its pretty cool to look at any ways don't have a clue what it is worth but hoping its worth something

Which had been installed in the recently-opened Library. The Library website explains that the two windows are made up of"Fragments and roundels of sixteenth and seventeenth century stained glass collected at Antwerp, Amsterdam and other places in the Low Countries by Edward Spencer Curling(1772- 1850) of Deal. He was a partner in the shipping agency, Goodwin, Curling, Hodges& Co. which acted as consuls for Hamburg, Hanover, the Netherlands, Portugal and Russia under King ... moreGeorge IV. The stained glass had been removed from churches and other buildings through iconoclasm and change of use from the late-eighteenth century, and sold through auction and dealers. Curling had given a large number of animal and bird specimens, along with objects from around the world, to the Canterbury Philosophical and Literary Institution museum in 1827-28 and in 1829 presented'2 frames for Stair case window.entirely filled with Ancient Stained Glass' He was'voted in consequence since an Honorary Member' In 1899 the museum collections moved to the new Beaney Institute and the windows were rearranged and re-leaded by the workshop of S. Caldwell and Son, responsible for restoration of the stained glass at Canterbury Cathedral. One of these windows was removed in the 1930s, when the Beaney was extended, and remained in store until restoration for current display near the Learning Lab. The patterns and images were painted onto sheets of clear glass and fused at low heat, silver staining giving a yellow colour. The auction is for an amazing compilation for and architect or millworker. This is a wonderful catalog for millwork copyrighted 1908. No 600. It starts on page 50 but looks like their were no pages before that. The last page is numbered 431. This book is in ok condition. The spine is broken and several pages are loose and about ten are missing. Two pages have cut outs. There is a warning not to cut out or remove from office. It looks like someone did not listen. Edge and corner wear, minor spine damage& a water stain on the lower front cover. There are No holes, marks, tears, or signs of repair.
