Vintage Santa & Camel Fez Hat Wearing Salt & Pepper Lefton Skakers - Japan NOS
This listing includes a vintage Santa and Camel salt and pepper shaker pertaining to the Shriners. A extra Santa shaker is also included. With each figurine wearing a red fez hat with a Shriners emblem on the front. The underside of each Santa is stamped“F.N. Kistner Co. Chicago Ill. Each of the three pieces has a small red and gold“MADE IN JAPAN” decal from Lefton. Each shaker is missing its original rubber plug as these had hardened and crumbled over time; however, these can be easily replaced with a suitable sized cork. The outer raised foot of each piece is unglazed. The two Santa figurines are 4” tall and the camel is 4 1/8” These are new old stock pieces that were found still wrapped in paper liners and stored in boxes lined with a tan grass like packing material. This is a gorgeous old set of 2 tall shakers. Estate find! Beautifully colored pink. Blue, yellow, green chintz pattern(all-over floral) These are pretty large: 5" tall. The holes in the top of the salt shaker are quite large.perhaps meant for sugar? not salt? not sure. Very good vintage condition: no chips. No cracks, just crazing throughout in keeping with age. Crazing does not detract from the appeal of these lovely shakers at all. Pls. see all photos for best description. There is a cork"plug" on bottom where fill-hole is. TRI-FOOTED Vintage Salt/Pepper Shaker Marked Japan Some Raised Detail
Vintage salt or pepper shaker from an estate collection. I will be listing several single pieces. Unknown age- marked Japan. Stands 3" high. Floral design. With some raised details above the flowers and along the top rim(dots) Not perfect but still lots of enjoyment left. The small cork stopper is missing. The gold trim shows wear of course and there is a hairline crack along the bottom edge-difficult to see but it shows faintly on the bottom right side of the first photo. The darker line in the next to last photo is actually part of the manufacture of the shaker. It is NOT a crack. The bottom of each foot is unglazed, and the top of the shaker has a yellow tinge. This is a pair of ethnic shakers each with 5 holes. They are 3 3/8 inches tall. They each have cork stoppers and are stamped"Japan" in black. They are crudely painted with paint smudges around the bottoms. There are spots of paint overlapping in some areas. I am dependable and I thank you for looking.

Vintage Fire Fighting Clown Salt & Pepper Shaker Set Cork Stoppers From Japan
Very cute set of fire fighting clown Salt and Pepper shakers. I'm not sure what year they are from but they are vintage and have the old style cork stoppers on the bottom. See pics) They are used so some of the paint shows some wearing and there is some crazing but there are no cracks or chips. Considering their age they are in wonderful shape. This auction is for a lovely porcelain*PEPPER* container made in Japan. It is a miniature lidded square porcelain canister. 4-1/4 inches high with lid in place. I assume it once part of a set at one time, and this is the only one I have. It is in very good condition, some minor paint loss around the rim as shown in the picture; the black mark on one of the sides does not come off so my guess is that is put there by the painter. Vintage Ceramic Salt & Pepper Shakers Japan Really Cute!!! Old!!!!! Collectible!
Here is a Vintage Pair of Ceramic Salt and Pepper Shakers from Japan. They are Miniuature. Standing about 1 1/2 inches tall. The Shakers appear to be Hand Painted and have what appears to be Gold leaf on the tops and sides. They have what I think are Hand Painted Flower Designs on 2 of the 4 sides. The other 2 sides have a Gold Leaf Design. The Tops have Stars in Gold. They both have cork stoppers on the bottom and they look like the originals. The Word Japan is Hand Painted in Red on the Bottoms of both. This Dates them to the 50's or earlier,after that everything was marked Made in Japan not just Japan. I have not been able to identify the maker or the exact age but I think they may be from the 1920's or 30's as a lot of these were made then. They are Really Cute and Very Collectible!
