VTG ANTIQUE 4 " HIGH VICTORIAN DECORATED COPPER LUSTRE WARE CREAM JUG, BLUE BAND
UP FOR AUCTION TODAY IS A a nice little Victorian copper lustre cream jug with a dark blue band around the middle of the pot belly. There is a sprigged picture on both sides of the jug. I believe that it portrays a lady on a garden bench with a small dog. The jug measures about 4 inches high and 4.5 inches across from the front of the spout to the back of the handle, the jug is in generally good condition with no, cracks, or signs of restoration just a little bit of a chip on the pour spout. Antique English Ironstone Pitcher& Basin Washstand Set Victorian/ 19th Century ~~~~ This set features a lovely Victorian Bluish-Green Ink Floral Pattern. ~~~~ I could not find a hallmark on either piece. They were purchased in the UK. ~~~~ This is a nice matched set that has been well-cared for and is in remarkable shape. Both pieces show signs of use and age but given they are a hundred years old. Wouldn’t you too? Please look at the pictures for more detail of the flaws. ~~~~ The pitcher measures approximately 13.5” tall and 10” handle to spout. It does have a small chip in the bottom footring. ~~~~ The wash basin measures approximately 16” across and 6.5” tall. Antique Victorian Huge English Wash Bowl Water Pitcher Aesthetic Blue Transferware HARVEST by Della Robbia Lovely and large water pitcher made by a not so well known North Staffordshire potter called Della Robbia Co. They were only in existence from 1894 until 1901. Located in Birkenhead. The pattern name"HARVEST" is printed on the bottom of the pitcher. The center swatch is indeed that of some workers in the field with flowers and stems projecting through it and around it. On the back side of the pitcher, the scene is repeated but in a smaller size. Between the two scenes there is a small sprig of flowers and leaves. This pitcher has a segmented melon shaped body. Scalloped top and rope handle. The pitcher measures 11-1/2" tall and about 8" wide(across the widest part of the body) This is the size you would find with ... morea wash basin bowl! Would look so nice in a cottage decor or at a bed and breakfast. The pitcher is in excellent condition! If I didn't know its age and only looked at its condition. I would think it was nearly new! There are no chips or cracks or crazing. The only very minor thing I see are some light grayish marks along the rope handle which appear to have been done in manufacturing, perhaps thinner paint coverage. Also, a few craze lines on the bottom exterior of the pitcher and a few inside the pitcher, only on the surface. The pitcher is immaculately clean, inside and out. The glaze is nice and shiny. A true beauty!

Unusual face of bearded man on handle, gold trim, blue fish scale look on upper part, painted flowers and leaves on lower, measures about 4 1/4" high, unfortunately this is not perfect, picture 4 shows the large chip on bottom edge, it has a hairline crack, a bit of the gold trim has worn off and it has crazing which may have been there in the manufacturing? Antique pitcher with floral design in fair condtion. It has a lot of crackling and wear consistent with an antique. My mother purchased this in the 1970's as an antique. The pitcher measures 7 1/2" high and 4 3/4" wide at the base. I am also listing a slightly larger version separately on Ebay. The larger pitcher measures 8 1/4" high x 5 1/4" wide at the base. The larger pitcher is in better condition and does not appear to have crackling.

very large antique Victorian white pitcher with gold trim
This pitcher is about 11 and 1/2 inches tall and about 10 inches across at its widest from the spout to the end of the handle. It has gold trim that has worn off in places and glaze that has crackled with age. It has a raised design at the top. Bottom, and handle. I do not see any chips or cracks. On the bottom of the inside is some floral clay that I did not try to clean off. The pitcher would look beautiful with fresh, dried, or silk flowers in it. It weighs about 3 and 1/4th pounds. Helpfully labeled at the bottom by one of the heirs as GRANDPA GRUBER'S FROM THE CAMP(which seems a great place to decorate with a gurgling fish vase) with"MAJOLICA" written in a felt-tip marker(which can be removed fairly easily; it's on top of the glaze) In very good to excellent condition. Beautiful Antique Art Nouveau Victorian Pitcher Great Floral Design
This auction is for a Striking Pitcher designed with an Art Nouveau floral pattern. This piece Displays Wonderfully. It is not marked so I am not certain of the maker. Origin or exact age of the piece. But it was discovered at a recent estate sale of an avid collector of Haynes Pottery and other wares manufactured in Baltimore. Maryland in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Given the form and style, I believe it was made by Haynes Chesapeake Pottery in that era. It is beautifully made and designed. The upper portion is a high glaze and the lower section is a matte. Soft yellow finish with an art nouveau floral pattern in brown, purple and gold. The piece is in good condition. Especially for its age. There are no chips or cracks. The designs and coloring are clear. There is some age appropriate loss of the gold accent lines and crazing. I think it is probably English or French, possibly majolica but I'm not sure. No maker's mark and I am guessing at the age-possibly late 1880-1920 but could be later. Chip on bottom, where it doesn't show, 2-3 teeny chips that do show, please see photos. Gorgeous Victorian Pitcher! Love this shabby chic treasure! Wonderful ornate blue/green design with flowers. Scrolls, leaves, on a HUGE embossed vase/pitcher! In amazingly excellent condition considering this is an oldie! Although I am unfamiliar with the pattern and there are no markings on the pitcher. I believe this to be Victorian and from Staffordshire/Stoke-on-Trent. It would have originally had a water bowl underneath, and quite possibly an entire'dressing' table set. My favorite of these pieces is the pitcher, because it's versatile, practical and holds anything! This one is particularly large~spout to base is 11 inches and spout to(gorgeous applied) handle is 10" The inside is white and clean but it looks like someone stored water inside and much of the inside has(shiny) glaze loss that you can feel. Victorian Antique Pitcher white Porcelain with Gold Decoration
Small Fancy Porcelain China Victorian Pitcher that could be utilized for water. Or gravy. Very lovely and is dated on base to what looks like 69, in flow blue, along with a symbol that looks like it could be crossed swords, but there are also many more markings scratched into the clay. To me it looks as if it says Ga 152 done by hand and glazed over. There is a very small 30 stamped into the base, as well. There is a very small minor slit from when it was made, as it was glazed over on the side that shows. Was this made in 1830 or 1869? who knows, one look at it and you can see that it is extremely old. There is gold decoration on the floral pattern and around the rim, but some has worn off over time. This is a beautiful hand painted antique victorian pitcher that is signed twice and dated. This beautiful hand painted pitcher belonged to my mother who bought it at a second hand shop in Philadelphia in the 1950s when first married. It was ALWAYS on a doily in the extra bedroom of our home when I was growing up. After selling their home and downsizing. I kept the pitcher for a while, now we are downsizing and one can only keep a limited number of things. As you can see in the photos.it is in beautiful condition with NO CHIPS OR CRACKS. It is signed under the handle and underneath on the base MILLS 68, which is 1868 because my mother already owned it second hand in the 1950s. The paint and gilding are still beautiful! Vintage Victorian era portrait pitcher with a cover has cranberry with lots of gold trim. Oval vignettes are framed with gold scrolling. There are 3 goddesses with 3 cherubs. One cherub leans over the seated lady's lap to view a book. There are 2 other framed vignettes under the spout and handle The top rim is ruffled. Pitcher is 10 1/2 inches tall x 8 wide. Reverse side has a large vignette of 3 women playing instruments. There is a tiny flick on the cover and the finial has a fine touch up of a spot of the gold. Rare to find these pieces with the cover.

Antique Victorian Tall Porcelain China Tulip Pitcher Vase Stunning Exc Cond
This was one of a handful of antique/Victorian pitchers/vases that my mother purchased and held dear all of her life. She passed last year. And I am selling some of her antiques to offset my father's medical expenses. This piece was most likely purchased in or near Savannah, GA where she was born or Jacksonville, FL where she lived when first married in the early 50s. There are no cracks. Chips, etc. but, like any similar pitcher of this age, there are areas of the gold trim on handle and base that are faded or missing. Also the top/rim shows age(see last photo) Please note that I have not cleaned nor washed it in any way. A gentle soap bath may well brighten that part of the porcelain. However, it does not diminish the pitcher's beauty. Inside shows a little age and discoloration at the very bottom. Antique Victorian Spongeware Water Milk Pitcher Stoneware Yellow Ware
Offered is a vintage 19th century spongeware water or milk pitcher. It has a serpentine top rim with a raised floral decoration. Heavily crazed. sponged with blue and rust. It has one 1/2" chip on the inside rim near the spout, a 3" hairline from the top rim down, and a spider along the bottom. When tapped on the side, the pitcher has a nice ring, is as solid as the day it was made! I've provided as many photos as possible. It measures 7 1/4"T x 4 3/4" at the base, 6"Wide at the handle. This piece is a genuine antique, unlike most of that modern reproduction blue& white spongeware seen on eBay. It has been in my family for at least 3 generations.
