Beautiful and antique Fisher- Lyons NY number 4 salt glaze stoneware jug. 16" tall with 11 1/4" diameter base. Incised with the makers name at the top shoulder. Brown signature drip mark beside the handle. Base rim has a couple rough spots but most of those are from the manufacturing process as you can see in the close up photos. No chips on the neck and very nice and clean. Overall excellent original condition. Beautiful large display jug. Ship via Fedex ground.

Crown Devon Fielding's Auld Lang Syne Jug Made in England
This jug originally had a music box in the space in the base. Which is no longer there. It is approximately 8 in. tall and 7 in. wide. It has some overall crazing consistent with age, but no chips or cracks. The original wood and cork stopper is present, but at some time the cork end broke off in the jug. I think the pictures give accurate details, but please email me if you have any questions. My Mom was an antique dealer in Connecticut. And I am helping her clear out some things.

For Sale is a RARE Vintage 1 Gallon Military Jug" It has the lettering for" 7th Cavalry Col. E. S. Godfrey dated1896. Has a pair of swords crossed in the middle of the front of the jug. No Cracks,No Hairlines, No Chips. Some of the lettering is faded. No makers marks on the jug. It is 10 1/2" tall and 7" round. This is a real beauty and Rare to find a old military jug in this great condition for the age. Hand applied handle. Just a few imperfections in the jug when it was made. Lettering is under the glaze. I searched E.S. Godfrey and found that he was later a Brigadier General and at one time served under General George Custer and was born in Kalida, Ohio 1843 and died in 1932 and was a veteran of indian wars and wrote several books. I purchased this at an auction in Radcliff, Ky. near Fort Knox from an Estate of a retired ... moreArmy Officer and this the only information I have on the jug, other than what I have googled. Very Rare 19thC Incised Decorated Stoneware Sundial Philadelphia Pennsylvania
Up for sale is this extremely rare stoneware sundial in perfect original condition by H.C. Bailey. It is from a well known collection. Collectors who are customers of mine through my shows. EBay and privately will know that I have sold important antiques and fine art that are in museums, published and in important collections-this would be an example. A very closely related example lacking its directional is in the collection of Winterthur Museum and is illustrated in Webster, p. 186, fig. 255. It is the only other known example and was at the bequest of Henry Francis du Pont. All Roman numerals and E, W and S are incised. CONDITION: excellent original condition, offset screws of the period holding directional, bright bold cobalt lettering. No issues, no restoration. Approximately 8 inches in diameter and just over 5 inches tall with iron ... moredirectional. Probably from Philadelphia or Mid Atlantic. This is a better example because the gnomon or metal directional that casts the shadow is there and there are no hairlines. Cracks or restoration. I was able to copy and paste the Winterthur examples specifics, the images of this example are my last two photos(for some reason the images will not transfer via copy/paste) You can easily find the information on the Internet. Up for auction is an antique vintage matte blue pottery pitcher jug. Looks like a mountain jug. The pottery has little teeny specks around the neck. It is part of the pottery or glazing. I am sure it has a name but I don't know it's called. It has a beautiful shape to it. Nice shapely mouth. There are no markings on the bottom. There are a couple of nicks chips on the bottom rim. The rest of the pitcher is in great shape. The handle. The mouth spout, the body.all in great shape with No chip, nicks or cracks. There are a few pin air dots in the pottery.typical of old pottery. Bennington, Vermont 1 Gallon Jug with cobalt flower. 1850-61, salt-glazed stoneware jug with freehand brushed cobalt flower and cobalt-filled impressed maker's marks, ht. 14 1/2 in. with an 8" diameter base and the applied handle is 5" long. Condition: Excellent(see photos) There's a few dips in the top of the neck which I believed occurred during the firing process. Nice pieces like this one by J. E. Norton of Bennington, Vt. are hard to find.

Two Vintage Holt-Howard "Havana Balm" advertising Crocks Made in the USA
Made by the Holt-Howard company. USA, most likely in the 1960's, these two crocks appear to be advertising for"Havana Balm" The left hand one(as you look at the 1st listing photograph) has no chips or cracks. There are dark glaze speckles on top of the tan clay area and a rough spot under the dark glaze around the opening, which is was there when the crock was glazed. The logo is a bit blurry. The right hand jug(as you look at the 1st listing photography) has a crisp logo. It does have a chip along the bottom edge which has then resulted in a hairline crack(see 3rd and 4th listing photos) The lip of the opening on this one is smooth. The crocks measure approximately 6 inches tall, with a 4 inch base. The opening, with lip measures approximately 1 1/4 inches across. This listing is for both crocks together. Antique Flow Blue Design Salt Glazed Stoneware Bottle, Hand Thrown
An incredible 5 1/2" tall flat neck bottle. The blue color swirling around this piece is wonderful. There are some glazing flaws on the shoulder and neck. You can see evidence of it being hand thrown on the interior of the neck. It is unsigned. But is European in origin. In the same box were items from England, Belgium, France and the Netherlands.
