Or merchant's chest, dating from the Meiji Era around the mid to late 1800's, featuring a lock bar in the center and classical safe compartment at the bottom right. It boasts a natural light colour with a rich honey patina, beautifully shaped hand forged iron hardware, wood peg construction and 8 drawers of various sizes that provide versatile storage options including a full width drawer at the top. It is in excellent overall condition for it's age. But has a little lock issue: as there is no key and the top drawer lock is in the closed position with the drawer open it will not shut all the way. The safe compartment has a tendency to swing open by itself since there is no key to lock it. The lock issue does NOT affect the lock bar which slides in and out of place properly. Please read the description and examine the photos for more details on the condition. Locksmiths and larger antique dealers will own sets of multiple keys to fit a broad range of locks so you should be able to get the drawer unlocked easily enough so it slides into place. With a little patience you could also find an antique key that fits right here on ebay(I can recommend a seller who regularly stocks this type of item) Other small issues worth noting are a small repair in the bottom corner of the smallest drawer just above the safe compartment. The larger top drawer is stiff to open and close due to age and needs a tweak, and one corner plate in the back is bent out of shape. Given it's age there is some wearing off of the blackening of a few small spots of the iron, and a couple of small nails are missing. Up for auction to U.S. customers only is a vintage Weis two drawer file cabinet. It measures 11" wide x 12" high x 18" deep. The drawers are 4-1/2" high and 9-1/4 inches wide. The oak finish has minor scratching on the finish and there are chips to the veneer at one side(it is a small chip; the rest of what looks like damage is actually reflecting light) and another at the rear corner(both pictured) Overall it is in very nice condition and ready to store your household items or other items. These skis would look great above the fireplace mantle or on the wall in your mountain cabin. Ski house or lodge. I found these at an estate sale in an old barn along with another pair I restored that I have listed right now. Rich, warm, wood tones would go very well with most decor. They are circa 1950 skis, serial number 823 and the length is 6' 11" ... moreThe brand name is ALPINE with Dovre-Kabel bindings. They were covered in dirt and dust and the hardware was tarnished and had started to rust in many places. I really liked that a good bit of the original paint remained and that the owner had painted his initials on the tails of the skis so. I decided to restore these and keep them as original as possible but make them look really sharp. I removed all the hardware and sanded the wood with fine grit paper. Removing some of the finish and grime but, being careful to retain what was left of the original paint scheme. Someone years ago had recoated them with varnish and I removed most all of that. I then sprayed them with several coats of hi-gloss lacquer which I hand-rubbed between coats. This brought them back to life, yet retained their vintage paint scheme, look and the majority of the original finish and paint. All the metal hardware. Original screws included, was then sanded, steel wooled and polished, which took several hours. The bottoms of the skis were sanded and sealed with three sealer coats, keeping the original paint on the bottoms. In all, I spent about 8 or 9 hours plus materials restoring them so, most of the pric

Attractive. Well made rocking baby crib. Made before 1950- how much before is unknown. Solid wood. Turned dowel and slat construction. Dark stain. Overall outside dimensions 37" long x 29" wide x 27" high. Inside crib dimensions 35" long x 17" wide x 12" deep. Comes with a white plastic covered Polyurethane foam pad(not shown) dimensions 32"x17"x 2" Previously owned. Shows some effect of use in inconsequential scratches and a few small chips/nicks. And age in dust and need for cleaning. Possibly refinished and possible slat replacement. No visible repairs and no apparent need for repairs. Joints are tight. Rocks but not rickety. Great decorative antique furniture. The crib was made before modern child safety standards and so probably does not meet those standards. I have no idea what its weight ... morelimit is. For example. VINTAGE / ANTIQUE WOODEN STAND UP GLASS STARBURST ASHTRAY
What a really rare find and ready for display or for all your tobacco needs. It is sturdy and does have a little bit of a wobble when on a flat surface but can be an easy fix just put some feet or felt on the bottom. Stands 26 inches tall and 8 inches in diameter at base. Ashtray base is 7 inches in diameter and ashtray 4 inches round. A great find a super cool starburst glass ashtray that sits in a 1/4 inch grove so so worries about is sliding off. Up for auction is a very Rare antique upholstery/furniture roller stamp. The roller stamp reads: UPHOLSTERER FINE FURNITURE CHARLES RITTMANN 61 HIGH STREET PAWTUCKET DRAPERY AND LACES; CABINET MAKER and FINISHER; Shades& Fixtures; Interior Decorator; Mattresses Spring Beds The width of the wooden roller is: 3 1/2" The diameter of the wooden roller is: 3 1/4" The wooden handle measures 6" long. Over length of the roller stamp is 11 3/4" Overall width of the roller stamp is 4" The lettering of the rubber stamp is adhered to the wooden roller. The lettering is in very good and legible condition. The roller is spring loaded to return to it's original starting position for the next manufacturing label inking. The wooden handle is attached to a metal Y-shaped metal arm. This metal arm supports the rubber stamp roller ... moreand internal spring-loaded mechanism. The ends of the Y-shaped metal arm have various groves to rest on the inking tray. This is a very rare Charles Rittmann upholstery/furniture stamp from circa early 1800's. Only a handful of these were produced and used for his business in Pawtucket. Rhode Island. Not even sure how many of these still survive today and this might be one of the last known to exist. This is a Wonderful Vintage Piece of Antique Ethan Allan Baumritter Furniture. This is a Beautiful Dresser Top CHEVAL Mirror with drawer base. It was made in Vermont. And is made of SOLID MAPLE. It has the Original mirror and even a Birdseye maple drawer bottom. The mirror is excellent with no flaking or stains, and the finish on wood is Awesome, only a few light scratches here and there. The drawer is still tight with no loose joints, and mirror fits on spindles with Original Hardware. It has white porcelain knobs on it, I do not know if these are original, I think it might have has a bronze color metal knob originally. Vintage Antique Hanging Magazine Rack Original Oil Painting On Tin Framed as is
Up for auction is a unique vintage antique Victorian hanging magazine rack with an original painting on the front of blue corn flowers. This was found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia PA area. We put this ca 1880- 1905 due to the period frame and painting and its style. There are many losses to the plaster and gesso of the frame- but it is a wonderful frame that would look great with minor touch up- even a"faux" touch up would be great. The wood backing should be replaced. The painting could use a cleaning(a ball of a piece of wonder bread would get most of the dust and grime) The painting. On tin, is 9 3/4" x 13 1/2" more of a European sizing) on a very thin board that has lost some of the nails holding it in place.
