I found a website talking about a pitcher that brought a lot of attention at an auction ... morebecause it was the only known pitcher from the Webb Company in Ohio, which was a short-lived pottery in Ohio. Well. This set says Ohio WEBBS on the bottom and the number 112, and is a VERY super looking set. Aside from some normal crazing and one chip on the chamber pot lid, it is SUPER. Comes with wash basin, pitcher, slop pot with lid, chamber pot lid. Just an absolutely incredible set! Beautiful floral decoration. And apparently from a very rare pottery. Here is the low-down on any damage. All items are finely crazed. The lid of the chamber pot has single large chip in the rim as seen in the photos. The slop pot insert has 3 very thin hairline cracks. The bottom of the pitcher has a circular thin hairline crack. The bowl and chamber pot do not have any damage at all. If anyone has further info. Please let me know. Dimensions: Pitcher: 11 1/4" x 10" x 8" Wash Basin: 14 3/4" x 4 1/2" Chamber Pot: 13 3/4" x 13" overall) Update* I found a small vase that goes with this set that someone overlooked in a box here. I have included a picture(very last pic) It matches this set and is also stamped Webbs on the bottom. I wish you could see the crazing on this vase. It is amazing. There is one small crack in outside lip of the bottom but it the chipped piece was glued back in very well. If you look closely at the picture. You can see it. The Ewer/Pitcher is marked Dresden SEMI-PORCELAIN and the basin is not marked. I do not believe that this is an original pair but both are actually old. The pitcher has embossed designs in the middle part and by the top. See images. It has a muted bouquet of flowers that I cannot determine. The pitcher also has some crazing but no cracks that I can see. There's also a muted bouquet inside the snout. The basin looks like it was used and there are some water marks inside the basin. It is also embossed on top and it is not marked. The floral design cloub be cherry blossom. I cannot determine if the florals on both pieces are decals of handpainted since they are both muted. The basin also has cracks inside, by the lip and outside(I found 2) but its not a cvrack the goes through the ceramic. The basin is a very thick ceramic almost like an Ironstone piece. It measures 17" in diameter and about 5.25" high. The Pitcher measures 11.875" High, 10" by 8.5" NOTE: If you purchase this item. Please wait for my invoice since I will need to add the insurance(they do not automatically calculate) This is a very heavy item, an oversized package and will need to be double boxed. VINTAGE WATER PITCHER& WASH BASIN This is a Beautiful Vintage Water Pitcher and Wash Basin in a beautiful White and Pink design with the raised Geese on both sides of the pitcher. The pitcher and basin are both in extremely good condition with there being no cracks. Chips, or repairs. There is however very minor crazing around the bottom of the pitcher and around the edges of the basin which can only be seen on close examination under very good lighting. The Pitcher is approximately 12" inches tall, and the Basin is 15 3/4" inches in diameter.

Condition– I am no pro and cannot grade this set. With that said I found; uniform crazing on both items(very pretty) no chips. No cracks. No previous repairs– simply wonderful! Makers Mark– Pitcher is not marked. The bowl is stamped with a name I cannot decipher(part of it looks like Cal? I really cannot tell) The number“1108” and“USA” This is ... moreone of many quality items from the same estate.This estate contained many items verified(some even documented) from the late1800’s thru the late 1930’s– some earlier. THIS AUCTION IS FOR ONE ANTIQUE PITCHER AND WASH BOWL SET ELSTERWERDA POTTERY THESE ITEMS ARE OVER 100 YEARS OLD! The small factory was founded in 1900 right between the arms of the rivers Pulsnitz and Black Elster by a Mr. Korsukewiez who over the years slowly but surely increased the capacity until he employed up to 200 people in the 1920's and 30's. Although some other sources claim that the factory had a peak of 400 workers during 1925. Many famous designers and sculptors worked at the factory, for example the designer Ursula Fesca who worked there between 1928 and 1931 or other well-known artists like Siegfried Möller. Grete Gottschalk and Franz Eggert. Next to normal household items the factory also produced ceramic clocks during the Art Deco period and one of the decoration styles used is a typical example for a combined ... moreairbrush and stencil technique used during the mid-thirties. Used between 1900 and around 1918. U. ='Uhr' clock) the number is a combo of mold and decoration. Check via the email; elsterwerda pottery. Then, PM&M page ELSTERWERDA It should be noted that next to the shown marks from the period between the two wars the factory also used either the word'ELSTERWERDA' in a circle or simply a stamped'Elsterwerda handgemalt' and in a large number of cases the items were left unmarked and only received a simple sticker. After the end of WWII some of the machines and kilns were disassembled and sent to the Soviet Union as part of the reparation agreement. Sadly that is also the time where the whole company archive went missing; it is believed that it was either destroyed or(more probably) taken away with the machinery. Also shortly after WWII the factory mark was replaced by a stamped' V.V.B. Elsterwerda' which was then used until the'V.V.B.based structure for grouping nationalized companies was slowly abandoned in the early to mid-1950s in favour of the linear' V.E.B. approach. This auction is for a Lovely Antique Pitcher and Wash Bowl Set made in Belgium by Keramis. It is Beautifully designed with images of a long tailed and colorful bird amid pink and yellow and green flowers against a cream colored background. The pitcher is in very good condition. Especially for its age. There are no chips or cracks or repairs. There is a very slight and hard-to-see firing line in the lower part of the handle(see photo 10) It is not a hairline and doesn't go through and it appears to be under the glaze and made in the manufacturing process. Antique Victorian Huge English Wash Bowl Water Pitcher Aesthetic Blue Transferware HARVEST by Della Robbia Lovely and large water pitcher made by a not so well known North Staffordshire potter called Della Robbia Co. They were only in existence from 1894 until 1901. Located in Birkenhead. The pattern name"HARVEST" is printed on the bottom of the pitcher. The center swatch is indeed that of some workers in the field with flowers and stems projecting through it and around it. On the back side of the pitcher, the scene is repeated but in a smaller size. Between the two scenes there is a small sprig of flowers and leaves. This pitcher has a segmented melon shaped body. Scalloped top and rope handle. The pitcher measures 11-1/2" tall and about 8" wide(across the widest part of the body) This is the size you would find with ... morea wash basin bowl! Would look so nice in a cottage decor or at a bed and breakfast. The pitcher is in excellent condition! If I didn't know its age and only looked at its condition. I would think it was nearly new! There are no chips or cracks or crazing. The only very minor thing I see are some light grayish marks along the rope handle which appear to have been done in manufacturing, perhaps thinner paint coverage. Also, a few craze lines on the bottom exterior of the pitcher and a few inside the pitcher, only on the surface. The pitcher is immaculately clean, inside and out. The glaze is nice and shiny. A true beauty!

Offered for auction is a beautiful antique wash/bath set with a blue& white floral design;it was purchased as a set.The larger pieces are marked,the smaller ones are not marked,which to my knowledge, is not uncommon.The mark on the underside reads" Maddocks Works-Lamberton-Royal Porcelain"a company out of Trenton New Jersey which existed from 1893-1915. This set consists of a large bowl with a pitcher,a chamber pot,a handled slop bucket with a lid,a tumbler,and a soap dish with a lid. Pitcher (Water) and Wash Basin, English, Vintage, Falcon Ware
Vintage Pitcher and Wash Basin(could be from early 1900's) FALCON WARE. Made in England. Condition is excellent; value in set. Pitcher is 11.5 inches high to the highest point of spout. Bowl has 16.5 inch diameter which includes 1 1/4' lip all around. To my knowledge it has not been broken or repaired. I can not guarantee but I seen no evidence otherwise. The top glaze has fine lines in it as I'd expect from old porcelain. Inside the pitcher on its' floor one can feel some roughness about 1/2" ound. The pattern is captivating. See photo of cottage. The English cottage is repeated in various spots alternating with a flower bouquet. The pitcher on the bottom is engraved with MADE IN ENGLAND it is stamped with the same stamp on the bottom of the bowl where it is legible. The handwritten numbers on the pitcher base are 4 ... more8 5 0. and a handwritten floating"16" The bowl stamp is quite legible with FALCON WARE ENGLAND And a cursive capital LG intertwined. Looks like what is on the bottom of the pitcher but fainter and partially there on the pitcher. The gold trim seems very intact. Normal wear but actually less than normal wear to me. I see a touch worn off the handle but it's charming as I'd expect it there. The bowl also has the floating 16(or is it 10? Background color best described as Creamy. This set is charming. Wonderful decorative piece. Not too fragile, large for a statement, and a pattern that could go in most informal spots. I used this in a very contemporary home! Johnson Bros England Royal Ironstone China Pitcher and Wash Basin Bowl -Matching
This is a very large antique Johnson Brothers Ironstone/Semi Porcelain Washbasin and Pitcher. The bowl measures 17 1/4 across and 4 1/2 inches high. The pitcher measures 9 inches across and 11 1/2 inches high. The tag on the bottom(as purchased) says circa 1890-1915. It is in very good antique condition with no cracks or chips on the pitcher and mild crazing consistent with age. The washbasin has no cracks but a tiny flea bite on the underside which is not visible from above. There are some scratches on the bottom of the bowl where the pitcher sits but again consistent with age. Considering this is around 100 years old it is in very good condition. Vintage wash basin and pitcher pink/purple floral Cronin of Fredericksburg EUC
Lovely. Vintage wash basin and pitcher set was bought and stored in the attic for 20 years and never used according to its owner. This set from Cronin of Fredericksburg would make a great addition to a country cottage or turn-of-the-previous century decor. The pitcher is gilded around its mouth and has embossed(raised) scroll work designs in the porcelain and has 3 clusters of pink and purple flowers around it's outerside. One under its lip and two inside the lip, yet visible.
