It is has a nice shiny copper luster; on the panel across the middle there are beautiful flowers and vines on an olive green panel. There is a small dimple in the glaze. On the bottom base of the handle. This lovely piece measures approximately 3½” in height is about 4½” from handle to spout. This piece is in excellent condition. For your consideration: A Early Frankoma Pottery Prairie Green Guernsey Pitcher#93. The Pitcher measures 6 1/2" in height with the lid on.height. It is 4 1/2" at it widest point(middle of pitcher) and the base is 2 3/4" in diameter. The bottom of the pitcher is unglazed. Revealing the Red Sapulpa Oklahoma clay. It is marked: 93 FRANKOMA. The FRANKOMA marking looks to be done with one of the metal incisied stamps that were destroyed in the 1938 fire. I strongly believe that the pitcher was made in the 1940's or 1950's. For bid is this gorgeous HANDMADE Vintage Ceramic Water Pitcher made for me by a local artisan around 1982. It stands 7 1/2 inches tall and 4 3/4 inches Wide with a sturdy 2 1/2 x 5" inch handle. Beautifully glazed and carefully painted by an expert ceramic artist. It features a large comfortable handle. Very interesting looking antique pottery pitcher with a beautiful Fleur-de-Lis pattern. Pretty glaze is a deep gray green. Almost black, with white raised design. I think it is probably English or French, possibly majolica but I'm not sure. No maker's mark and I am guessing at the age-possibly late 1880-1920 but could be later. Chip on bottom, where it doesn't show, 2-3 teeny chips that do show, please see photos. Also tiny spots of beige paintand 2-3 larger spots of beige paint-someone was painting and splattered-I will let the new owner take care of that as I don't want to ruin the glaze. FLOWERS AND LEAVES, RAISED DOTS WERE ALL PUT ON BY HAND. THERE IS ONE VERY SMALL CHIP ON TOP, NOT NOTICEABLE. I TOOK A PICTURE OF IT, BUT IT IS HARD TO SEE. GORGEOUS FOR BEING OVER 115 YEARS OLD! APPRASIED AT OVER $300 BY LOCAL AUCTION HOUSE. INFO ON RSPRUSSIA.NET. There are two parts to this mark. A squashed ellipse and an arrow. The former is thought to be a mining symbol, the latter a weapons symbol. Both mining and weapon making were activities at the Lauter forge, which was later acquired by Reinhold Schlegelmilch and converted to a porcelain factory in 1869. It has an applied strap handle, the spout is small and pulled, and the body has a bulbous shape. The outside top was decorated with a deep green drip glaze, which covers part of the handle as well. Measures 3 3/4" high to the top of the strap handle, and is 3" wide across the bulbous body. Unmarked on the base-dates to around 1900. Condition is extremely good with no cracks. Chips or repairs. There is all-over age crazing on the piece. The strap handle is a little off to one side. There are some tiny glaze pops and skips at the top and on the handle. Old Green Pottery Pitcher with Fleur-de-Lis Design
Fresh from an estate is this wonderful old green pottery pitcher. What is very interesting about it is the fleur de lyse design. On one side the design is not glazed. But it is glazed on the other side. Interesting. I do not know who the manufacturer of this old pitcher is. It is in very good antique/vintage used condition. There are a few spots of minor roughness on the lip(see pictures) but they may have been there from manufacturing. This is a good size pitcher measuring approx. 9" to the top of the pitcher lip. And approx. 9" from the spout to the end of the handle. The fleur-de-lis. Also known as the French lilly, is the symbol of New Orleans and Louisville as well as just being very attractive.

Up for bid is a wonderfully glazed antique pottery pitcher. I do not know the maker. Condition: There is a chip on the rim inside right above where the handle is attached. See picture 5. There is also a feather crack as shown in picture 6. Crack is 4" long. Pinpoint spots where glaze is worn off. Pitcher is 9.5" tall and 6" across from handle to spout. Iridescent brown glaze- very attractive and a nice shelf piece.

Continental Kilns Pottery Vintage 64oz Big Magnolia Pitcher Green Arbor 1953
The manufacturer of this pottery made this from 1944-1953 so this beautiful pitcher is at least 60 years old. It is 6" high and 8" from spout to handle and holds around 64 fluid ounces. This is a great collectable display piece but also functional. The floral design is magnolias on both sides of this pitcher and the pattern is called"Green Arbor" The bottom reads CONTINENTAL KILNS HAND PAINTED and the floral/leafy areas are slightly 3D. Gorgeous Victorian Pitcher! Love this shabby chic treasure! Wonderful ornate blue/green design with flowers. Scrolls, leaves, on a HUGE embossed vase/pitcher! In amazingly excellent condition considering this is an oldie! Although I am unfamiliar with the pattern and there are no markings on the pitcher. I believe this to be Victorian and from Staffordshire/Stoke-on-Trent. It would have originally had a water bowl underneath, and quite possibly an entire'dressing' table set. My favorite of these pieces is the pitcher, because it's versatile, practical and holds anything! This one is particularly large~spout to base is 11 inches and spout to(gorgeous applied) handle is 10" The inside is white and clean but it looks like someone stored water inside and much of the inside has(shiny) glaze loss that you can feel. this pottery is in beautiful shape. these items were found in a barn that had fallen down and collapsed in southern ohio. there are NO cracks or chips in the mugs or the pitcher. they are green in color. they are a matching set and each carry the same markings and color. rare to find a matching set of undamaged pottery mugs and pitcher that is so old.
