GRAND ANTIQUE ORNATE CARVED WOOD LARGE 6 FT FIREPLACE SCREEN PIER MIRROR FRAME
ASOLUTELY STUNNING AND EXCEPTIONALLY NICE CONDITION! We are pleased to offer this antique. Solid, carved wood fireplace screen frame. The frame is masterfully carved. The designs are not glued pieces, they are carved into the frame. The frame has 7sections. The top, two side frame pieces, and the bottom frame piece. There are also two side attachements with a bottom cross piece. Additionally, there are 4 arched feet. The frame featues exceptionally ornate and intricately carved wood. The top of the frame has very detailed leave and acorn carved design. This"headpiece" has an ornate arched lower section which is incised in a diamond design. Inside the diamonds are notches which make up 4 petaled flowers. A faux twist rope pattern is carved on the border. This topper is one piece of wood and attaches to the side frames at the upper ... morecorners(see photo12) The side frames are also incised/carved with overlapping leaves as well as the diamond cross hatched pattern. They are connected to side columns with dowls(there are no nail or screw holes present) The side columns feature turned wood with a gorgeous. Flower accent. The side columns continue to the ornate feet of the screen. The feet extend the same in the front and the back. They feature carved wood leaves with a bottom, carved flower. The feet are connected with a cross frame piece that is carved in an egg and dart design. The frame is exquisite. It is all carved with only 4 overlay pieces. These pieces are located at each corner. They are carved shells and are a much lighter colored wood. I am not exactly certain as to the type of wood. It is finished in a medium to darker brown stain. The four shell overlays are a golden colored wood. The frame is in extremely nice condition with very few dings or scratches. It has been beautifully preserved. This very large and very ornate frame at one time housed a lovely tapestry but it is gone. It would make a fantastic standing room divider/dressing screen or an amazing mirror frame. OLD VINTAGE ANTIQUE Ornate Fancy TABLE LAMP Shade is cloth circa 1940s
LOCAL PICKUP ONLY NO SHIPPING Manitou Springs is located next to Colo Spgs in the center of the state. Overall. This stands 42" High and weighs 12 lbs. The shade is 16-1/2" wide. I was told that this came from the 1940's. The shade is cloth and showing it's age. The patterns on the bottom of the shade look like some sort of very old decal.The cloth is thin on top of each of the ribs. There is one tear that I can see. But it is more like a snag and does not go all the way through. There is a drip of white paint on the inside of the shade.There are various stains, so the shade needs lots of TLC. The floral pattern on the globe(indicated with a red arrow) is hand embossed. Some of the other patterns look like gold leaf. It looks like the electrical was replaced. Tested and it works nicely. Item: Antique Ornate Metal Corner Shelf Note: As a rule. I like to leave Antique/Vintage items in their original condition when I discover them. In this case, the original paint was flaking off and creating a messy situation. It simply wasn’t practical or safe(lead paint chips) to allow that to continue. So, I did take it upon myself to strip this piece clean and prime/paint it in a new rock hard“Hammered Bronze” Metal Paint. It still has a Antique“feel” to it both by its design and color. I found this gorgeous piece completely filthy in a basement at a house I was“ picking” I have ZERO doubt it was made Pre-1930. I know that because I know the house and everything else that was in it at the time. It is now ... more100% Immaculate and probably more beautiful than it ever was. This would make the MOST IDEAL Shelf Unit for a vanity counter to hold perfumes. Make-ups, lipsticks, etc… It stands 14 ¾”T x 12”W x 9 ¼”D and weighs 2.14lbs(unpacked) I am sure my photos will best further describe this item. Condition: On a scale of 1– 10(Ten being MINT/New in Package) I can confidently grade this item’s condition to be a solid 9. Truthfully. This piece is 100% Mint. But I only grade items a“10” when they are brand new in package which in this case is impossible. Structurally, this shelf unit is totally strong, ZERO wear in any form at all. It will last another 100 years without a doubt. The paint is rock hard and will not chip. If you don’t like the bronzed color. It is as simply as re-spraying it whatever color you like. The priming is done already so the base is completely strong and can be re-done rather easily if so desired. Huge Ornate Antique Eastlake Victorian Mirror Animal Head Dragon 7' x 4'
Here is a mirror that has wonderful carved elements. It measures about 83" tall and 48" wide. It certainly needs a large wall space but what a mirror! There is some damage. The back has been resupported, there is some damage at the top left and missing a piece of molding trim bottom right side. See last photos for close ups of those areas. Rare ornate antique 3 panel wrought iron window grill or room dividers
Rare ornate antique Art Nouveau 3 panel wrought iron window grills. Guards. Decoration or room dividers. The two larger pieces still have the original hunges. The smaller framed piece lost it's hinges. They were apparently remnants recued from an old building in downtown Portland just prior to demolition. The person who recued them painted these three with multicolored enamel paint. They are beauitiful. Sturdy and in good condition. Here are the dimensions: The largest piece measures 19" in width by 30" in height + 1" thick(+ add a little more for the hinge) The medium sized piece measures 15" in width by 30" in height + 1" thick(+ add a little more for the hinge) The smallest completedly framed peice measures 10" in width by 31" in height + 1" thick They are extremely heavy. RARE Vintage ANTIQUE ORNATE BAMBOO CANE OAK ETAGERE HANGING SHELF ORIG FINISH
Here is a RARE VICTORIAN antique vintage bamboo hanging shelf. It has a very nicely shaped solid oak shelf. Nice deep rich color. Measures about 17 1/2" inches tall x 31 1/2" inches wide x and is 9" inches deep. The the oak wood shelf is made of solid oak and is very sturdy. It is in great original condition. The age of the piece is from the turn of the century. The solid oak shelf has a great rich deep honey color to it and it has a great shape to it. Our photos are accurate. It is a great looking accent piece and is very well proportioned. Would look great hanging on the wall with its ornate bamboo bent corbels and it is well made.
