Ernestine Noera Pole designed and held a patent on these lead flower holders. Filed back in 1932. They were sold in the flower shop of the Homestead Hotel in Hot Springs, Virginia from the early 1930s through the 1950s. She designed at least 10 designs shaped like petals or leaves which varied in size from quite small up to the biggest of 10" in diameter with 24 sets of leaves/petals. This listing is for the pair of two. The smaller one has 5 petals- measures 3.5" tall by 4.5" wide and weighs 13 ounces The larger has 7 petals- measures 3.5" tall by 5.5" wide and weighs about 23 ounces. Pretty good condition. Except one petal on the larger frog has become de-attached(shown ... morein photos) If just sitting on a shelf, this petal will sit in place by itself. This is a vintage Midget single row planter. On the front we have highlighted the words in chalk so they show up in the picture. It says Midget Pat Dec 8-14 K2. The dial on top has Bean. Peas, Beat Pars Rad Onion Lettuce, Closed, K22. It measures approx 8" across wheel. The hopper is approx 4" x 4" It is missing the handle. The wheel turns freely& the dial turns. It is rusty& corroded from use& age& has alot of character. Great decor item for Garden, Yard, Shop, Cabin, etc.

ANTIQUE VICTORIAN 24" WIDE WROUGHT IRON GARDEN GATE & GOTHIC CAST IRON POST
Antique hinged garden fence with single post attached. overall width is 35" The post has a total height of 45" two 7 1/2" long spikes that would be stuck into the ground or cement and a 37 1/2" tall post with Victorian Gothic styling. The gate is 24" wide and 33" tall from end to end of the center. The hinge between gate and post is 3" wide and allows the gate to swing both ways. There is a stabilizing bar that helped to keep the post upright but the end is broken off and many years ago. Someone put an ornate Eastlake doorknob on the top of the gate handle. One of the cast rosettes on the upright iron post is partially missing. There is a coat of rust over a pitted iron surface but gate and post are well-made, solid and still functional. On the front of the box it says: KEEP IN DRY PLACE RUMFORD. On the sides of box it has: 2 DOZ. 1/2 LB. CANS, RUMFORD, THE WHOLESOME BAKING POWDER, on the bottom there is something written, but I'm unable to read it. I believe that this box is from the early 1900's. The corners are dovetailed jointed. But the bottom is nailed along the outer corners of the bottom edge. Still has the original soft patina, with some scuffs, nicks, chips to the pine wood, missing one small section on the back of the box(please see all pictures) This box is still SOLID and in good condition! This auction is for three very old sets of plow tines. These old fella's time have come to an end in the plow field. But still have plenty of use to go in the way of art and deco. I have done no restoration to these items, just in case the customer wants this rustic look that can only be done by mother nature. These would make for a great deco piece in the lawn or garden. Actually anywhere, now that I think about it. Here in the Ozarks people use them for garden accent pieces and fence decor. These could be used in great industrial art pieces, coat racks and tack hangers in the barn or garden. I have found no cracks or breaks in the tines. They are in surprisingly very good shape despite their age. I can not find any identifying maker's marks on this item without removing the patena. Length vintage deckchair material - used but strong - blue/yellow stripes
A long length of deckchair canvas measuring 155cms x 11cms. And which came with a lot of textiles bought at auction from a house clearance. Most of these textiles dated to the 1920's/30's and later, and so I think this has quite some age. As my pictures show, it has been used as seams have been unpicked. It is good and strong, but because it has been packed away for years- and probably had periods of getting wet and drying out- there are tiny little background marks of rest here and there. Probably needs a good scrub, but the colours are bright and authentic.

Not sure of the age. But has an old Victorian Vintage look and made out of a cast iron or pot metal. The top and bottom were casted separately and then bolted together( the bold is rusty and looks old) Can be used as a decorative planter or garden urns. It measure around 9 1/2” tall and 9” in diameter. It weights over4 pounds. At some point they were painted with a drab green to rust orange color and then beautifully aged to get a pastel old patina look. A natural pitted rough surface which is natural for cast iron. Very beautiful and classic!

ANTIQUE BRICK FROM THE DUCK CREEK BRICK COMPANY DUCK CREEK.WISCONSIN VERY GOOD Accession Number: 7.1984.10 Published Date: 11/29/2006"Workers at an unidentified brickyard pose for the camera. Ca. 1900. After a fire in 1853 that gutted a large portion of Green Bay's downtown, and later, the 1871 Peshtigo fire that killed approximately 2000 people, the use of brick and stone in building became more common. Stone was locally available from"the Ledge" as well as from fields, Brick, however, was easier to obtain and useful for construction because much of the region had an underlay of suitable clay for bricks. Early manufacturing required the bricks to be made by hand. Fresh clay was thrown into a hole, soaked in water, and then shoveled into a pugmill where it was mixed with more water until it became smooth. As the clay was ... moremixed, it was also forced to the bottom of the pugmill and slowly squeezed through a small hole in the bottom of the box. It was then rolled in sand and pressed into a wooden mold. When the mold was filled with four to eight bricks it was emptied onto a board where the clay bricks air-dried for several weeks. Once dry thousands of bricks were placed in wood kilns where they were fired for more than a week. When the steam engine began to be used for brick making near the turn of the century, the availability of more sophisticated machinery allowed increased production. Unfortunately, as wood became less readily available, many of the smaller brickyards closed. Increased use of concrete block also provided competition for the brick industry in the 1920s. We never know what he'll come up with next. What we appreciate about his pieces is that he gets them back here and cleans them up to beautiful condition. This is a REALLY nice old piece. It's an antique" seeder" I believe you would pour the seeds in the metal box on the side of this piece. Then you'd hold the handles OUT.push the metal end into the ground.then pull the handles together. When you pull the handles together.it makes the metal sticking into the ground"open" When it opens.it releases the seeds from the metal box down the metal tubing that runs from the box down and into the ground. At least.that's how I'm"guessing" ... moreit works. You can find these old"seeders" from time to time.but MOST of the ones we come across are either UNmarked OR were never marked to begin with(many crudely handmade ones out there) What makes THIS one so precious is that the markings are still MOSTLY COMPLETELY Visible. AND the original maker is easily researched. Arthur C. Kent was a local distiller in Janesville. Wisconsin in the late 1800's. In 1872 he came up with the idea for this" seeder" He patented the idea and began making the Kent Triumph hand corn planter. This was the official start of the A.C. Kent Company. He later also sold clothes wringers. Fanning mills, etc. I believe he operated up until about 1912 or 1913. I'd never held one of these things before.although I've seen pictures of them in old advertising. Here's a similar one I found listed on page 28 of the book"Primitives Our American Heritage" by Kathryn M. McNerney: AND I've seen a few come up for sale before. This auction is for three old and very cool rustic rake heads who's handles have long been lost in time. Around here folks use these old guys to hold coffee mugs. Keys, wine glasses, coats, or an endless array of items when mounted on the wall for a rustic look. They could also be retooled with a handle and be put back into use tomorrow. I have a picture of one we placed in our dining room to give you an idea of how it looks as a wine glass holder. Vintage Love Windmill Water Well Hand Pump Rockford Ill.Nice
This is an early Love Company of Rockford Illinois Windmill pump has some old very good repairs to the top that are not noticeable unless you really look hard this is a great looking pump and you do not see many Love pumps around it has a pipe broke off in the threads so as far as using it it would take some work you would have to make a spud to turn out the old pipe not impossible but a major task so it is for display or you could run a plastic tube up inside and use as a fountain display I will dis assemble for shipping this is a heavy pump 80# shipping weight can get to some spring swaps also do the Fastenal point to point shipping Thanks for looking

This is a very cool old cooking basket for over the fire. Comparisons that I could find call it a popcorn basket. But if this was used for popcorn you would have to use foil in the bottom. You could cook burgers. Hot dogs, fish. Corn.etc.Great for camping! The basket measures 11" in length. And 7.5" wide, 3.5" deep. The wood handle is interesting because it actually has imprints carved in it for fingers and thumb. So. The underside of the handle has 4 spaces for fingers, then on top, there is one for your thumb. This has obviously seen much use. And could use a good cleaning if you intend to use it to cook. Could also be great primitive decor. I take great care when shipping.
