These lantern are heavy weight 950 Sterling Silver. The craftsman ship is excellent. They have been stored for years in the original wood box and I do not believe they were ever used. Each stands 3 3/4" in height on a three footed base. They are marked Sterling 950. The top unscrews as pictured for filling. There is still a label attached to the box that reads OKUBO BROTHERS Tokyo. Japan. I believe these were probably brought back from Japan i after World War II. The pair weighs between 59 and 60 grams. They are both in excellent condition. I did not polish and will leave that to the new owner. They will polish up beautifully. Safely packed delivery will be FREE. And 1-11/16 ... moreinches in diameter. they have a lovely repousse floral border. The shakers are marked with the early anchor on either side of ROGERS along with STERLING. WEIGHTED REINFORCED and the number 3020. They are lightly weighted and weigh 111.5 grams on my jewelry scale. The shakers are in excellent antique condition. But one has a couple of bruises on the bottom rim and also a bruise on the side. The other is perfect(except for tarnish) They can both use a soft polish. Hand painted and signed matching salt and pepper shakers and a cool 3-handle sugar bowl. The shakers are marked O. E.G. Royal Austria. One is embossed the the number 2954-and it has it's cork inside the shaker, but otherwise these are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or breaks and gold gilt tops. The sugar bowl has 3 gold gilt handles and gold accented rim. This piece is from the same artist and is painted to match-it's marked R. S. Germany. All the pieces are signed by the artist"E. Ross" The sugar bowl is 2.25" tall and the shakers are 3" The painted flowers are all accented with raised white paint dots. The sugar bowl is also in excellent condition. Rare RCA Victor Dog 3” Tall S&P Vintage Antique Collectible Salt& Pepper Shakers Nipper His Master’s Voice with Corks. The unusual and quizzical pose of the little dog. Nipper, listening to the gramophone has fascinated young& old since the turn of the Century. The trademark image comes from a painting by English artist Francis Barraud. A.R.A. and titled His Master's Voice. It was acquired from the artist in 1899 by the newly-formed Gramophone Company. According to contemporary Gramophone Company publicity material, the dog, a fox terrier called Nipper, had originally belonged to Barraud's brother Mark. When Mark Barraud died, Francis inherited Nipper, along with a cylinder phonograph and a number of recordings of Mark's voice. Francis noted the peculiar interest that the dog took in the recorded voice of his late ... moremaster emanating from the trumpet, and conceived the idea of committing the scene to canvas. You are bidding on a Stunning& RARE Antique Noritake Hand Painted Porcelain Stein Style(handles) Blue Scenic Salt& Pepper Shakers made in Japan. A few things that make these so Rare is the Stein Style Shakers. They are hard to come by. These are dated around the 1920's due to the fact of the blue Noritake stamped emblem on the bottom. Some of these type emblems come in blue. Green, or red. The M in the middle of the wreath is for the Morimura Bros. Meaning items with the M in the middle started in the year 1916. Ok, enough of the history lesson! The Lovely Blue bell shaped shakers are hand painted of two different types of trees& a house or little shack over looking a mass of water. The other is- 3 5/8" tall x 1 7/16" square at the base. Both have 13 shaker holes in the top. Condition- Excellent. I feel no chips and see no cracks. No cork stoppers in the bottom. ANTIQUE PASTEL COLORED SALT & PEPPER SHAKERS WITH GOLD S & P
You are bidding on an antique set of salt and pepper shakers. This set is from my Grandmother's estate. They belonged to her parents. The salt shaker is approx. 4" tall and is a delicate pink with a cork stopper on the bottom where you would fill the shaker, the top of the shaker has a gold S with an elegant wreath creating arms to hold the S. The pepper shaker is a soft mint green with a cork stopper on the bottom just like the pink shaker. The pepper shaker is also approx. 4" tall and has the gold"P" that is surrounded by the wreath arms. There is a bit of wear on the bottom of the shakers, you can see this in the pictures. There is also a bit of discoloration on the mint green pepper shaker, I think it may come off with a washing but I am not certain.

Antique Salt & Pepper Shakers Novelty Football Players Head in Hand Japan GUC
This is a very unusual pair of salt and pepper shakers. One is holding the other players head and the other is holding the football without his head. They are in near perfect condition. No cracks. The tall one does have a tiny chipped paint(blue) from his pants. One on each buttocks and one on the right knee. I didn't even notice them when I was taking pictures. The helmets look like the paint has came off but if you look closer, you can see that they were painted to show the head. That kind of helmet really shows the age.There are corks in the bottom of each one. One has a Japan sticker the other one is missing. Bottom finish of Squaw has missing paint and is dark pottery. Wood Corks are in very good condition. Both pieces has JAPAN printed in Black Ink. The crevices of both pieces has the old aged stain(not crazing but dirty stain) should be cleaned but I will not do that. As I do not know what to use. No other damage found, just the aged staining and bottom of squaw I already mentioned. She has P on her front dress; he has S on left pant leg and both have 3 shaker holes in back. Antique Salt And Pepper Shakers. Blue And White Design Made In Japan
Lot of three antique blue and white salt and pepper shakers. Two are a set. The third is a single. The set of two depicts an Asian design and are marked Japan on the bottom. The other markings on the bottom of this pair of salt and pepper shakers is not legible. They are 3 1/4 inches tall. The single blue and white round shaker has no marking on the bottom. It is two and three-quarter inches tall. The stopper cork is missing from the bottom of all three. Nice condition. It is not my intention to profit from shipping. Antique P L Limoges France Salt Pepper Shakers Hand Painted Artist Signed Porcelain Description ~ this is a lovely set of Limoges porcelain salt& pepper shakers with their original cork stoppers. They are hand painted and signed by an amateur artist in pastel blue flowers that are outlined with green foliage and offset with small touches of yellow and red. The tops are painted in a full clean gold and the shape is of a simple and elegant rectangle. Both are marked with a green underglaze P L Limoges France. This is a La Porcelaine Limousine mark. Condition ~ is excellent to mint. This set is extremely clean. The decoration is full and bright. I have not removed the cork stoppers and do not know if they still hold any salt or pepper. The artist signature is on the edge of one shaker and the only possible faults would be a couple of tiny ... morepits from manufacturing in a couple of discrete areas. Mark ~ the mark on both shakers was the first factory mark used by La Porcelaine Limousine from 1905 into the 1930’s. This company was formed by P. Jouhanneaud and Joseph Redon in the old Redon factory and closed in 1938. The factory was later reopened by Alexandre Chastagner.
