It has an 8” wood turned handle. It is 3” tall& 4” in diameter at widest point. It looks like it was hammered into this shape. The bottom is stamped England. The#60& a picture of a menorah. Someone has written on the bottom 60/JM Ellis 65.00. It has a monogram on the front& I think the letters are MCB. The only things I see wrong, is that the handle has a little wiggle& a couple of chipped places& there is also copper showing through about the size ½” x ¼” Thank you for looking& please check out my other items. Vintage Ellis-Barker(England) heavily silverplated treen handle tea caddy or box. The globe form caddy is fully gadrooned throughout. It measures 5 1/2" height to the top of the handle x 4 1/8" diameter at the midsection. This beautiful vintage was manufactured by Ellis-Barker Silver Companies in Birmingham. England and New York, NY. The company started in England in 1820 and in 1897 opened an American branch.The menorah mark probably dates back to around 1912 through the1940's. Pieces with the word"England" were made in the United States. The marks on the tray are the following: Menorah symbol and engraved"England" in script lettering on back side of tray. Also on back side. There is small number 27 under one of the handles. The tray is VERY large and substantial in weight. It probably weighs about 10 pounds. The tray. INCLUDING HANDLES. Measures 31" long by 22" wide. The measurement WITHOUT handles is 28" long by 22" wide. The border of tray is high relief. The surface of the tray is engraved with leaves and flowers ... moreand very detailed with leaves. Flowers and scroll work. The center of tray has s symbol resembling a of coat of arms. The words at the bottom on the center engraving are"DIGNITAS IMPERIUM NOBILITAS" The back of tray is supported by 4 raised feet. T his tray was acquired in New York in the 50's and it has been in our home ever since. The feet are very beautiful with a floral and scroll design. The relief patterns that circle the perimeter appear as leaves and scrolls. The tray is vintage so it has been used however. It is great condition. It has normal wear with light scratches on the surface of the tray. The silver plate is in tact over the tray. On the bottom of each foot, where the tray rests, there is a small area( dot) which is size of very petite pea where the silver plate is missing. A small dot of copper shows through there. The tray is a real show piece!

Ellis Barker Silver plated candle sticks. There is a total of 8 separate pieces in each set. Can hold up to 3 candles. And each is stamped with a scallop on the bottom as I have tried to show in the photo. It also is stamped"Made in England" and has a date stamp of 4E-27-46. There is some damage to the bottom of each of the pieces. On each piece there is a dent on each one. One is slight, and is only noticeable upon close inspection, but the metal is starting to separate slightly. There other is a bit more severe. And the denting at the bottom has cause a separation of the metal. They are both still very nice pieces. And would make a great addition to any collection. It has a lovely open work design and is quite heavy. When I saw it at the estate sale I thought it must be sterling. But I looked up the mark of a menorah on the bottom and came to the conclusion it was a silver plated dish, presumably from the Edwardian era. This is a gorgeous heavy silverplated round tray from Ellis-Barker- England. This has raised and pierced sides. Decorative engraving and ornate feet. It is marked with the Ellis-Barker menorah mark that dates it somewhere between 1912& 1940, I believe. Also marked England. This tray is 14 inches in diameter. And 2 1/4 inches tall at the highest point(including the feet) It has been part of my parents antique collection since the 1970's or 1980's. The tray is in very nice condition with no damage that I can find. Other than the normal light scratches from use. The bottom of the tray could use polishing- it's half polished and half unpolished as you might be able to see in the photographs. Nice, heavy plating with no missing plate. This is a 20th Century four piece TEA OR COFFEE SET with ebony lid finials. There are places for personal engraving on the pieces, but it was never done. NOTE: This is my personal wedding gift from 1967 and has been stored in protective covering- I used it only as a new bride in the sixties. Bone finial and a scrolled handle covered in rattan. The stand shares the same rattan handle look and scrolled feet. It also features an open, geometric cut out design. The stand has a burner with a mechanism you push inward to extinguish the flame. These pieces bear the scallop shell mark of Ellis-Barker. An early 1900's British silver company. Vintage Early Barker Ellis English Hinged Silver Tea Caddy
Fabulous early Barker Ellis silver on copper tea caddy. Measures 4 1/2" tall, with a 2 7/8" diameter at the top. Wonderful can shaped caddy with a hinged lid, is covered with exquisite deep engraving of scrolls and flowers, and is marked on the base, with a trademark used up to the early 1930s when the company was still Barker Brothers, before merging with Ellis. Also marked"Made in England" with the numbers 57 and 28, the caddy is in excellent estate condition, the wear to the silver plate being confined to the lid, where copper shows through the scrolled pattern. Long considered one of the finest of the English silver plating companies. The tea caddy would make an excellent addition to a collection, and is offered with out reserve.

Regency Plate was Birks finest line and the pieces marked England were actually made for them by Barker Ellis and the Mounts are Solid Sterling Silver, the finest quality you could purchase at the time. This gorgeous Wine Bottle Basket features amazing Repousse Borders of Flowers, Scrolls and Grapes and I love the Rattan Wrapped Handle with great Geometric designs. Ellis Barker silverplated tray. 12.5" in diameter. The much smaller trays with this menorah mark are valued and sold for upwards of $150. Fantastic rare piece. Highly coveted maker. Early work. Three round feet on the bottom. Very thin. Open slivers along the whole edge with stunning flowers, leaves and beautiful designs around it. Three marks, the menorah, the word England in script and the number 43 underneath the outside edge. See pictures#6,7 and 8. Very large, rare piece to find by this maker. The menorah mark was used from 1912-1932 according to the information I found. The work that went into this is exquisite. The center is left blank for engraving, many of these have initials on them. It hasn't been touched other than a dry cloth, I like to keep the antiquity of silver by leaving it unpolished. Assuming that it's copper ... moreunderneath but not sure. The little wear on the bottoms of the feet look like copper.
