The Vatican Gardens are gardens that stretch out to cover more than half of the area of the Vatican. The gardens are situated in the northeast and south of the Vatican territory. The gardens are approximately 23 hectares. most of the area of the gardens is known as the Vatican Hill. The Vatican Gardens were established during the  Renaissance and Baroque, and are embellished with fountains and sculptures.
